Holly Mazur Productions started as a way to express a love for the beauty of nature, celebrating passionate people, and appreciating everyday moments.
This inspiration has guided Holly Mazur Productions to become a boutique filmmaking and media production studio. We create branded stories and documentary inspired works that help clients communicate their unique vision and perspectives with the world.
For over 10 years now, we’ve worked with companies, brands, organizations, municipalities, research teams, and artists to create projects that are crafted to help achieve their goals. We are experienced in all stages of the creation process, from project development, producing, filming and photography, editing, all the way through to marketing and creating a strategic plan for implementing the media we create. Having filmed hundreds of interviews and cumulatively created over a hundred films for our clients, we have developed a depth of knowledge for filming in all kinds of locations and conditions.
Holly is passionate about connecting with the people she works with, both on and off camera, and loves to bring her a positive and friendly personality to all the work she does.
In addition to her professional and creative work, Holly has had the pleasure of teaching and mentoring many aspiring filmmakers and artists. She has worked with the Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta (FAVA) running workshops, long-form courses, and one-on-one mentorships. Since 2015, she’s also worked as a mentor for Amplify St. Albert helping youth artists and filmmakers create over 25 music and poetry videos to date. In addition, she has had the privilege of working with programs that promote filmmaking as a social justice tool such as Girls in Film and Television (GIFT), an initiative that teaches young women filmmaking skills to help address gender disparity in the film industry, as well as the Justice 4 Reel program put on by the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights.
When not working under the banner of Holly Mazur Productions, you will often find Holly working alongside her creative, business, and life partner, Myles Belland of Myles Belland Studios.
